Meet Hayden

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and moved to Dallas after graduating from Cedarville University in 2012. I grew up going to a great church, but my faith was mostly about doing and saying the right things. There was no real relationship with the Lord. It wasn’t until high school that I really understood that my faith in Jesus was personal and that I needed Him every hour of every day. I got involved with the worship team at my church at a young age and I really loved using my gifts in this way. Then all through college I had an incredible opportunity to travel on a worship team across the country. Through this experience I knew that the Lord was leading me to become a worship leader in some capacity. I love music of all kinds, but I especially love songs that stir people’s affections towards Jesus. I am super grateful I get to be a part of the worship team at Watermark.

My wife, Lauren and I married in 2014. We jumped into Watermark the Sunday we got back from our honeymoon and have been involved ever since. The Lord has done serious work in our lives individually and in our marriage first through foundation group and now through our community group. Lauren and I love our two girls Ella and Phoebe, a good cup of coffee, Tex-Mex, traveling, and Kansas Jayhawk basketball.
