Meet Anna Beth

I grew up in the booming metropolis of Tyler Texas where I was raised by my amazing parents alongside my seven siblings! I am grateful to have grown up in a Christian home where I was taught about the goodness of God at an early age. I received Christ as my Savior when I was 6 years old but didn’t truly know what it meant to have a daily abiding faith until I was 18. This was when I was challenged to make my faith my own apart from my parent’s faith. After Highschool, I attended a Bible school program in Australia where I fell in love with God’s Word and was called to a life of vocational ministry. I specifically remember reading 1 Peter 3:15 where it says to “always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you” and this drove me to pursue studies that would equip me in knowledge and confidence in the hope that I have in Christ! I chose to go to Dallas Baptist University where I studied in Philosophy and Biblical Studies. Afterwards, I was married to my amazing husband Chase and two weeks later began the Watermark Institute in 2022-2023. The Institute helped me fall more in love with the Lord as I learned about the depth of God’s costly grace that He offers me. After finishing the Institute, I transitioned to full-time staff here at Watermark on the Equipping team. I am so grateful that the Lord has allowed me to work in a job that aims to theologically educate and equip the church body to have a defense for the hope that they have in Christ!
