I’m a California native turned Texas transplant by way of TCU (go frogs!) My friends would tell you the only things I take pictures of are the beach and my dogs back home, I quote too many movies and I could eat a sandwich every day of my life and never get sick of them (shoutout Eatzi’s).
Growing up in a Christ centered home, I heard the gospel at a very young age. However, as a teenager, I found myself living for temporary pleasures and glorifying the sins Jesus came to save us from. After years of putting Jesus as my lowest priority and last resort, I experienced Romans 5:8 so tangibly as He met me in my need for my Savior with grace and open arms. I came running back to the truth of the gospel in college through reading God’s word daily and with the help of biblical community. I began to understand the weight of my sin and accept the forgiveness of the cross offered by grace through faith alone. I now find freedom in Christ each morning and am humbled by what He has done in my life for His glory.
After being a member of Watermark for three years, I felt the Lord calling me away from my corporate job to use my talents and skills to serve the body in a full-time role on staff. I’m still pinching myself that I get to come to work every day and champion ministries that are bringing the gospel to the city of Dallas and to the ends of the earth. I am grateful the Lord has entrusted me with being a servant for the sake of Christ. Now let’s make heaven crowded!
