Lauren Lago

Meet Lauren

My name is Lauren Lago, but I go by Lo with friends and family. I was raised in Phoenix, AZ. I am the youngest of 5 kids and I love to spend time in the sun and outdoors playing sports with my friends. I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2019 at the age of 20.

I grew up in a home that desired for Christ to be the center and gave my life to the Lord at 6 years old. My dad prayed the prayer with me, and at 12, I was baptized. It wasn’t until college that I had a full understanding of grace through reaching a point of life where I realized Jesus is all I have at the end of the day. My relationship with Christ changed from being something that felt necessary, to something that had deep roots in every part of my life.

After graduating, the Lord had put on my heart moving outside of Arizona but didn’t allow that to happen until June of 2021. Through a lot of God-things and doors opening, God brought Dallas to my attention, and I moved here knowing no one. I have been at Watermark since August of 2021, and I have been blessed with lifelong friends and deep community.
