Howdy! Born in Austin and raised in Dallas, I am the oldest of 2 children. Under the sweet discipleship of our parents, I came to know the Lord at an early age and grew up understanding the story of the Bible. As a homeschooled teenager I often felt loneliness and the temptation to place my identity in what others thought of me. The Lord used an internship in Honduras to draw my heart to His and show me that my understanding of His love was only a fraction of the true love He has for me. (Ephesians 3:17-19)
I attended Texas A&M (Whoop!) after graduating High School and received a bachelor’s degree in leadership studies in December 2023. Soon after graduation, I married my husband and moved to Dallas. My family has been attending Watermark for over a year now and we jumped in with them into what the Lord is doing through His church. After a season of increased trust and dependance through waiting, I am thrilled that the Lord opened a door for me to join staff here at Watermark. When not at work, you can find me and my husband traveling/adventuring somewhere new, playing pickleball, dreaming about getting a puppy, or eating Chipotle.
The Lord has shown me time and time again that when I am weak, He is strong. His power is made perfect in my weakness, and I will spend the rest of my days boasting in my weakness that His power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
